Let's Talk Quince!

Hi everyone! Welcome to Shelbie’s World. This week we are talking about one of the most important details of turning 15. It’s your quinceañera! In Mexico, we say the traditional quinceañera is “throwing the house out the window.” In my opinion, it’s a wonderful way to spend your 15th birthday. It’s almost like a wedding. But I want a party that is like a wedding only once. That’s why my quinceañera is going to be a little more modern. I am not getting rid of the whole tradition. It wouldn’t be a party without the Mariachis.

Now it’s your turn to tell me what kind of party you’re going to have. Are you going to continue the tradition and have a party as big as a wedding? Or are you going to put your own personality into it? Or maybe you will mix the two, and have a traditional style of you? Let me know! I might even use some of your ideas for my party. And you can definitely use mine! But I can’t give them all away at once. You’ll have to keep reading my blog to find them all out. So keep reading!!!
