You read about the quinceañera I celebrated with family and friends...but there's more! I also had a quinceañera on television!
The same week of my actual quince party, I had booked a guest-starring role on the new TV series “Moonlight.” In the episode, my character is celebrating her quinceañera too! But her party was sooo much bigger than what I had. So it’s kind of like I got to celebrate my birthday twice, at both extremes! My own party was very special, but more casual. I wore a sparkly gold top.
On TV, I wore a poofy pink gown, a real quinceañera dress! The cake was three times bigger that what I had, with SIX layers! The only downside was that the party room was filled with people I didn’t know. But, by the end of the shoot I had become best of friends with EVERYONE!!! Now I know who I am going to invite to next year’s party, hehe.
Well, that was my incredible birthday week! I hope you have enjoyed hearing about it. I also hope that you have a great quinceañera as well. If you haven’t had it yet, then I hope it will be the best night you have ever had. I know mine was!
