Searching for the Perfect Dress

Leer en españolread

Welcome, all! I’m here this week to talk about the details of my party, and to maybe give ya’ll some ideas for your party! First and most important is your dress. Apart from everything else that will be going on, you have to look good, right? Here are some tips on what to look for.

Tip #1: If you are going to be throwing a huge traditional party, then you might go for the traditional dress, long and weddinglike. But then again, you might want to make it your own. Go for a sleek, knee-length dress in that case. Something that will fit your body and make you look elegant yet youthful.

Tip #2: Don’t go for the darker colors like black or brown. This is a happy day, so make yourself shine! Now, sometimes dark colors apply if you find a dress that has a light solid color and then a darker see-through color on top. This works with blue and brown on top, gold with cream on top, or even lavender with dark blue on top.

I am looking at several dresses that are knee-length or a little bit higher, and that are in the gold or cream colors. It might have short, flowy sleeves. But I’m still not sure. Like I said, the dress, in my opinion, is the most important part of the party, and it’s taking me a little longer than usual to find an inexpensive dress that will look like a million bucks.

Once you’ve picked the dress color and style, it’s like picking your main theme. The rest of your party details will follow easily. After all, all the details should match the color of your dress. Next week, we’ll be talking about decorations. So if you have any ideas, I welcome you to share them with me and all the girls. Add your comments below!
